As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for computed tomography (CT) imaging exams, recording patient histories, operating the CT scanner, and evaluating images for quality control.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, ability to work with diverse patient population, and excellent technical skills.
Additionally, you must be able to work alone and with a team and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for CT imaging exams by explaining the procedure and answering their questions Record patient histories and review relevant medical records Operate the CT scanner and select appropriate protocols Evaluate images for quality control Utilize appropriate radiation safety techniques Maintain accurate records and documentation requirements Knowledge of CT scanning and imaging techniques Requirements:
Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field CT certification BLS, ARRT (CT) Active licensure in the state you are applying to 1
